German Luftwaffe Dress Dagger WWII:

Blade Marks:
Robt. Klaas (Kissing Cranes)

An Excellent piece, Robt. Klaas made Top Quality Luftwaffe daggers.

This one is exactly as one would expect it to be.
It is properly maker marked on the obverse with the "Robt. Klass maker mark.
The dagger shows the manufacturers logo etched into the blade.
Well detailed Wings/swastika  crossguard 

Nickel hilt fittings show  surface wear to pommel and cross guard,  eagle swastika hilt and pommel,
 are VG+ 100% original in unaltered condition.



The leather  grip is unaltered showing abrasion to the raised areas of the spirals.
This grip is complete with the original tight wire wrap.



The Polished, blade grades VG.++
Showing  surface wear and runner marks.
Blade has a few very minor nicks to the cutting edges.
Chrome plating Shows fine Crazing and lifting of the surface.
Minor dents on the scabbard with lifting of the "Silver Plate"  and is complete with leather blade buffer pad.
It's complete with scabbard suspension bands and hanger chains.




Portepee is in excellent + original condition.
Original bullion portepee shows little patina and relatively little fraying to the cord.

As You can see it's not been cleaned. It will clean up if desired by the new owner.
